Sardines

Known as pilchard or whitebait (immature fish), the sardine belongs to the Clupeidae family. It reaches a length of 20 cm. Sold also preserved in oil or in salt, the sardine has very tasty and valuable meats (they are sold at low price because they are easily available on the markets).
