The best way to discover traditions, appreciate the enviroment and the typical customs of the local people is “Slow-tourism” and improuving this kind of tourism is the Veneto Region’s goal.

In 2009 Veneto Region with an administrative deliberation has selected new touristic cycling journey in the “Excursions Veneto Network”.

Three of these excursions are located in three Veneto Parks:

16 Forcella Lerosa sopra Malga Ra Stua

Long Way of the Dolomites: is one of the most rewarding journeys on two wheels in the Alps: you will ride surrounded by some of the peaks recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site.

The Euganean Hills Ring: the Euganean Hillsstand out on the horizon with undulating lines in a surprising variety of forms - conical silhouettes atop gently rolling hills. In this unique geological scenery, nature shows its amazing biodiversity, archaeological evidence hands down stories of ancient civilizations. This itinerary follows a circular route along ancient waterside routes, around the Park of the Euganean Hills.

The Donzella Ring: Po Delta is a natural environment untouched in many areas. It is an easy excursion in the youngest Italy’s land. Following the dike of the Po di Venezia until you come to Scardovari and then the Donzella’s countryside, where farmers grow the PGI Po Delta rice.

SentieroEstate MarcoPavarinCycling is the most sustainable environmentally-friendly ways to travel and knowing these territory. The main goal of this project is the permanent placement in the italian and foreign tour operator’s market and maybe connected in itineraries with the more famous   art cities in Veneto.

The Delta

Parco del DeltaThe river Po, called the “gentle giant”, is the longest river in Italy. With its 650 km (about 400 miles), it runs through the Po Plain and flows into the Adriatic Sea, forming a delta and one of the largest wetlands in Europe and in the Mediterranean Sea.

Experiencing the Delta

Vivere il DeltaThe Po Delta is a wonderful land, most of which is still unknown. It should be experienced by walking slowly across it, discovering the gentleness of its landscape, the warm and rough welcome of the fishing lodges, the emotion of the boat bridges, the mystery of the thick canebrakes, the wide horizons, the activity in the fishing lagoons and in the vegetable gardens, the charm of the mouth and of the sandbars, strips of very thin sand following the seashore.
